20 equal sectors
360 / 20 = 18°
Every sector is the same size, so each one has the same chance on one wheel animation.

The two names are easy to mix up. They are different games with different structures.
| Attribute | Wheel of Fortune | Money Wheel |

| Player choice | None — you spin | You choose a colour first |
| Sector results | Numeric multipliers plus Spin | Green / Blue / Red / Orange |

Money Wheel has 37 sectors and a colour pick before every spin. Looking for colours, Orange or Green?
One spin of a 20-sector wheel. Two sectors are Spin, and the rest are numeric payouts.
360 / 20 = 18°
Every sector is the same size, so each one has the same chance on one wheel animation.
2 / 20 = 10.00%
A wheel animation lands on Spin about 10% of the time. Spin does not pay and does not end the round.
Because Spin re-spins, the settled result is always one of the 18 numeric sectors. That is the distribution that decides what you actually win.
Every sector, its count, and how the raw wheel relates to the settled result.
| Result | Sectors | Raw chance | Terminal chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spin | 2 | 10.00% | Re-spins |
| 0× | 1 | 5.00% | 5.56% |
| 0.1× | 5 | 25.00% | 27.78% |
| 0.25× | 4 | 20.00% | 22.22% |
| 0.5× | 3 | 15.00% | 16.67% |
| 2× | 2 | 10.00% | 11.11% |
| 3× | 2 | 10.00% | 11.11% |
| 5× | 1 | 5.00% | 5.56% |
20 sectors in total, 18 of them terminal.
Spin has no terminal chance. It starts another wheel resolution instead.
Spin is the one mechanic that makes Wheel of Fortune easy to misread. It is a re-spin, not a result.
A 0× sector loses the bet. Spin does not: it has no payout yet and the round keeps going.
Spin does not count as a game or a win by itself. It just triggers another wheel resolution.
What one spin shows, out of 20 equal sectors.
| Result | Sectors | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Spin | 2 | 10.00% |
| 0× | 1 | 5.00% |
| 0.1× | 5 | 25.00% |
| 0.25× | 4 | 20.00% |
| 0.5× | 3 | 15.00% |
| 2× | 2 | 10.00% |
| 3× | 2 | 10.00% |
| 5× | 1 | 5.00% |
This includes the 10% chance of landing on Spin, which is not a final result.
With a 10% re-spin chance, a settled result takes about 1.1111 wheel animations on average.
At about 7 seconds per animation, that is about 7.78 seconds of animation per settled result.
Not in the verified packaged geometry. Spin simply triggers another spin; it does not grant a separate payout boost or change the sector layout.
Once Spin is removed, the 18 numeric sectors decide the result. This is the table that matters.
| Final multiplier | Sectors | Terminal chance | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0× | 1 / 18 | 5.56% | Loss |
| 0.1× | 5 / 18 | 27.78% | Loss |
| 0.25× | 4 / 18 | 22.22% | Loss |
| 0.5× | 3 / 18 | 16.67% | Loss |
| 2× | 2 / 18 | 11.11% | Profit |
| 3× | 2 / 18 | 11.11% | Profit |
| 5× | 1 / 18 | 5.56% | Profit |
5 of 18 numeric sectors pay more than the stake.
0×, 0.1×, 0.25× and 0.5× all return less than the stake.
5.56% terminal chance. Highest payout is not the same as best expected value.
5×0.1 + 4×0.25 + 3×0.5 + 2×2 + 2×3 + 1×5 + 1×0
18 / 18 = 1
The terminal multipliers sum to 18 across 18 sectors, so 18 / 18 = 1. That is a packaged gross return of exactly 100.00%, from the geometry rather than a simulation.
Only 2×, 3× and 5× pay more than the stake. Everything else returns less, so about 72.22% of settled results lose money.
A few large multipliers compensate for many small losses. A small number of 2×, 3× and 5× results pay for the more common 0.1×, 0.25× and 0.5× ones.
Wheel of Fortune can return 100% overall while most individual results lose money.
Pick what you are trying to do. The answer follows from the packaged geometry and the challenge records.
Normal play
Base packaged return is 100.00%. Betting more does not raise the return percentage and does not raise the chance of winning — it only scales the size of the swings.
Return percentage and win chance are different questions. Wheel of Fortune has no sector or colour choice.
Win 3 games by betting a lot of money on Wheel of Fortune on Floor 1.
The Steam line says “betting a lot of money.” The challenge record is more specific: each counted win needs a bet of at least the current quota times 10%.
Same named objective. Challenge conditions and Steam metadata stay separate records.
The challenge sets consecutive = false. Lose between qualifying wins and your earlier wins still count. Only a qualifying win adds progress.
Independent-sample benchmark: one qualifying game is a win about 27.78% of the time, so three counted wins average about 10.8 qualifying games. Model benchmark, not a guarantee.
Enter the current quota and your effective max bet. The calculator returns the minimum bet that can count.
Current quota × 10%, rounded to the nearest dollar.
The most efficient plan is the lowest qualifying bet.
A larger bet does not raise the terminal win chance, which stays about 27.78%. Past the qualifying minimum, extra stake only increases bankroll exposure.
Spend a lot of money on Wheel of Fortune on Floor 3.
The Steam line says “spend a lot of money.” The challenge record is a cumulative wager of at least the current quota times 50%.
Same named objective. Challenge conditions and Steam metadata stay separate records.
Turn the challenge into wager throughput: how much is left, and how the bet size trades rounds against bankroll swing.
Ceiling of remaining wager divided by the effective max bet.
Fewer rounds means a higher effective bet. That finishes the wager target faster and widens the bankroll swing.
A Spin re-roll is not a new wager. It continues the same round, so only the registered wager tracker is the truth.
Only the wager-throughput challenge cares about items here. The rest barely move Wheel of Fortune.
Strong wager synergy
A higher effective max bet reaches the Keep It Spinning wager target in fewer rounds. This is a wager-throughput challenge, like other spend challenges.
Contextual
If a free max-sized wager is counted by the registered-wager tracker, it adds progress. Verify the registered-wager behavior before relying on it.
Not a core item
It amplifies positive profit. It does not raise the sector win chance for Spin The Wheel, and it does not raise cumulative wager for Keep It Spinning.
Insurance and similar items may change the bankroll result or the settlement classification, but they do not change the sector geometry. This page keeps the item section short on purpose.
Wheel of Fortune is in the standard pool on Floors 1, 3, 4.
| Floor | In the pool | Context |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | In pool | First appearance. Spin The Wheel lives here. |
| 2 | Not in pool | Not part of the standard pool. No dedicated Wheel of Fortune challenge. |
| 3 | In pool | Returns. Keep It Spinning lives here. |
| 4 | In pool | Available for normal play, with no dedicated Wheel of Fortune challenge. |
A configured pool share is not a guaranteed spawn rate.
Wheel of Fortune is in this floor’s standard pool.
Floor 2 draws from a different game pool. Wheel of Fortune is not part of it, then it returns on Floor 3.
Floor 4 keeps Wheel of Fortune in the pool, but the current challenge set has no Floor 4 Wheel of Fortune achievement.
Three common beliefs that the verified geometry does not support.
This page explains the verified packaged geometry and the re-spin rule. How reloads interact with a wheel animation is a separate question. If you are trying to re-roll a spin, treat that as a save and RNG topic, not a payout rule.

Geometry and configuration come from the packaged data. Animation timing is an average, not a guarantee on the next spin.
You spin a 20-sector wheel. Two sectors are Spin, which re-spins, and the other 18 are numeric payouts.
20 equal sectors, each 18°.
0× (1), 0.1× (5), 0.25× (4), 0.5× (3), 2× (2), 3× (2) and 5× (1). Two more sectors are Spin.
It has no payout and starts another wheel resolution. The round continues until a numeric sector settles.
No. A loss is a sector that returns less than the stake. Spin has no result of its own.
No. Spin is not a settled win or loss, so it does not add challenge progress by itself.
No. It triggers another spin from the same sector layout with no payout boost.
About 10% of individual wheel animations, because 2 of the 20 sectors are Spin.
The packaged gross return is exactly 100% at EstimatedValue = 1.
The 18 terminal multipliers sum to 18 over 18 sectors, so the packaged gross return is 18 / 18 = 1.
A few 2×, 3× and 5× results pay enough to cover the many small 0.1×, 0.25× and 0.5× results.
About 27.78%. Only 2×, 3× and 5× pay more than the stake, and they are 5 of the 18 numeric sectors.
About 5.56% of settled results. There is only one 5× sector.
5×, from a single sector.
It pays the most, but you cannot choose it. Highest payout is not the same as best expected value.
Not for return. You cannot choose a sector or a colour, so the only player decision is bet size.
No. It does not raise the return percentage or the win chance. It scales the size of the swings.
Wheel of Fortune has 20 sectors and no choice. Money Wheel has 37 sectors and a colour pick before each spin.
Money Wheel Orange has a higher packaged gross return. Wheel of Fortune returns exactly 100% overall, with no options to compare.
On Floor 1, record 3 Wheel of Fortune wins with a qualifying bet. The wins do not have to be consecutive.
No. The challenge sets consecutive = false, so losses in between do not reset progress.
At least the current quota times 10%. Use the bet calculator on this page for the exact dollar amount.
No. Only a qualifying settled win adds progress.
On Floor 3, build cumulative registered Wheel of Fortune wager up to the current quota times 50%.
Cumulative wager equal to 50% of the current quota. The wager planner shows what is left.
No. It counts cumulative wager only, so losses count as progress.
Yes. A higher max bet reaches the wager target in fewer rounds.
Only if the registered-wager tracker counts the free wager. Treat it as conditional until that is confirmed.
Floors 1, 3 and 4. It is not in the Floor 2 standard pool.
Floor 2 draws from a different game pool that does not include it.
Yes. It is back in the standard pool on Floor 3, where Keep It Spinning lives.
Reload behavior is not settled here. Treat it as a save and RNG question, not a payout rule.
