How challenges work
Items and upgrades do not all move the same number. Bet, payout, and profit are different values, and a result can stop counting as a loss if it is fully protected.
Bet ≠ payout ≠ profit
Bet19
Total registered wager or a minimum single wager.
Profit3
Positive casino profit, a payout amount, or a payout multiplier.
Wins15
Total wins, consecutive wins, or a win on a specific game.
Losses3
Consecutive losses or a loss sequence on a specific game.
Game-specific30
A required table, hand, duck, or sequence — not just “win anything.”
Time
None of the 42 current definitions use a standalone timer. The day clock still limits how long a hard challenge is worth.

Fastest ways to complete challenges
Bet
Prioritize a table that can take a large wager. Raise Max Bet if the target is above the current cap.
Profit
Use a positive-return game. Profit challenges count positive casino profit, not payout size.
Losses
Avoid full loss protection. A remaining loss can still count; a fully neutralized result may not.
Card hands
Follow the exact hold or no-hold rule. Poker Face requires no locked cards.
Wins
Prefer lower-risk wins when a streak is required. One non-win resets consecutive progress.
Trying to complete a loss streak?
Too much loss protection can stop the result from counting as a loss. Insurance may still preserve a Loss if some damage remains. Full recovery effects can turn the result Neutral and freeze the streak.
Challenge not completing? Check these first
1. Is this the challenge you currently accepted?
2. Are you on the correct floor / progression state?
3. Are you using the required casino game?
4. Are you tracking the correct value? Bet ≠ payout ≠ profit.
5. Does the result still classify as Win or Loss? Protection can change this.
6. Did you undo the result? Time Machine can roll back recent game results.
7. Is the guide current for this game version?
- — Stopping after balance or profit hits the number, not the wager total.
- — Tracking payout or profit when the challenge wants wager — or the reverse.
Used Time Machine recently?
It rolls back recent casino results as well as time. A qualifying result inside that window may no longer exist for challenge tracking.
Should you reroll a challenge?
A reroll is not automatically bad. An impossible or very slow challenge can cost more in lost day-time than its Ticket price.
- Easy with your current games and items → keep it.
- Requires a game that did not spawn → consider a reroll.
- Requires a huge bet you cannot reach → reroll, or raise Max Bet first.
- Consumes too much of the 300-second day → reroll if the reward is not worth the time.

Challenge FAQ
How many challenges are there?
There are 42 challenge definitions in the current production data. One daily challenge is offered at a time.
Do challenges change by floor?
Yes. Each floor has its own pool: 10 on Floor 1, 9 on Floor 2, 10 on Floor 3, and 13 on Floor 4. Rewards also step up with the floor.
Why isn’t my challenge progressing?
Check that it is the accepted daily challenge, you are on the right floor and game, and you are tracking the value it actually wants. Bet, payout, and profit are not interchangeable. Time Machine can also remove a result that just counted.
Does Golden Chip count toward wager challenges?
Yes. The initial cash is not deducted in the usual way, but the wager is still registered. That helps Big Spender and High Roller style tasks; it does not bypass every other condition.
Can Insurance still count as a loss?
Yes, if some loss remains. Insurance can reduce the damage and still leave payout below wager, which keeps the Loss classification.
Can Immunity Cross stop a loss challenge from progressing?
Yes. Full protection can return the wager and turn the result Neutral, so the loss streak does not move.
Does Time Machine undo challenge progress?
It can. It rolls back recent casino results as well as time, so a qualifying result inside that window may disappear.
Should I reroll a difficult challenge?
Reroll when the required game did not spawn, the bet target is unreachable, or the attempt would burn most of the 300-second day. Keep it when your current table and items can finish it quickly.
Do I need the correct game to spawn?
If the challenge names a table, that game has to be available on the floor. A missing spawn is a valid reason to reroll.
