Win, loss and Neutral results

Insurance and Immunity are not the same thing. A loss-based requirement needs the final registered result to stay a Loss. Partial loss recovery can still leave it as a Loss; full protection or a full recovery can instead turn the result Neutral.

Common reasons achievements don’t unlock

  • Wrong Daily Challenge

    The required challenge was not the accepted one.

  • Wrong floor

    The achievement is locked behind a later floor.

  • Bet, payout and profit

    Those three values are tracked separately.

  • Result became Neutral

    Full protection can remove a Win or Loss state.

  • Time Machine

    A recent qualifying result may have been rolled back.

  • Endless Mode

    Ending-related achievements need the normal final route.

Time Machine reverses recent casino results as well as time. If the achievement depended on a result inside that window, complete the requirement again and let it stay recorded.

Normal ending progression is disabled on an Endless Mode save, so ending-related achievements cannot be completed through the normal final route.

Daily Challenge achievement problems

Most of the 55 achievements are tied to a specific Daily Challenge. Doing the same casino action without that challenge accepted may not trigger anything.

Posts about a broken achievement are often older than the current build. These are the tracked release-level issues.

    An earlier build could not trigger these Challenge-based achievements. On a current build, diagnose the challenge requirements first.

    Players still report this, but keeping the matching Daily Challenge active and completed has resolved it for others.

Some players still report unlock problems, but an achievement that did not unlock is not automatically broken on the current version. First verify the Daily Challenge, floor, exact settled condition, rollback, mode, and multiplayer context. If those checks pass, treat it as a possible current-version issue.

Why are my achievements not unlocking?

Most reports are a missing Daily Challenge, the wrong floor, a tracked value mix-up, a Neutral result, a Time Machine rollback, or Endless Mode. Work those in that order before assuming a bug.

Are achievements bugged?

Some players still report unlock problems, but “achievement didn’t unlock” does not automatically mean the achievement is currently broken. First verify the Daily Challenge, floor, exact settled condition, rollback, mode, and multiplayer context. If all of those check out, treat it as a possible current-version issue.

Can Endless Mode block achievements?

It blocks the normal ending path, so the three ending achievements cannot progress on that save. It is not a reason to start a 100% run in Endless Mode.

Does Time Machine undo achievement progress?

It can. It rolls back recent casino results as well as time, so a qualifying result inside that window may disappear.

Do I need the Daily Challenge active?

For the 42 challenge-linked achievements, yes. Doing the same action without that challenge accepted may not count.

Why didn’t my loss count?

The final registered result has to stay a loss. Full Insurance or Immunity can return the wager and turn it Neutral. A partial recovery can still count.

Do old achievement guides still apply?

Not as a current bug list. Several tracking issues were fixed later. This page uses the current verified requirement set.

Can I unlock ending achievements in one run?

No. Pay Debt, Coin Flip win, and Coin Flip lose are different final outcomes. Plan more than one final-route attempt.

My Daily Challenge completed but the Steam achievement didn't unlock — what now?

The requirement page is no longer the fix. Confirm the result finished, that you did not roll it back, and then check the version history for that achievement before assuming a bug.

Why did my result become Neutral?

Full loss protection or a full wager return can register the result as Neutral instead of a Loss or Win. Partial recovery can still leave a Loss.

Do I need the matching Daily Challenge even if I did the same action?

For the 42 Challenge-linked achievements, yes. Doing the same casino action without that challenge accepted may not count.

Why does an old guide say Big Spender is broken?

That was a launch-build issue. The official v1.0.10 patch notes fixed an untriggerable Challenge-based Steam achievement issue affecting Big Spender, Lucky Streak and High Roller.

Was High Roller fixed?

Yes. High Roller was part of the same v1.0.10 fix for untriggerable Challenge-based achievements. On a current build, check the challenge requirement.

Was Lucky Streak fixed?

Yes. Lucky Streak was included in the v1.0.10 fix. On a current build, confirm the matching challenge is accepted and the streak counts.

Why isn't YARLL unlocking?

Players report that YARLL needs the matching Daily Challenge to be active. Doing a Duck Race bet on YARL without that challenge accepted may not count.

Does the required casino game need to spawn?

Yes. A game can belong to a floor pool and still be missing from the current layout. That is an availability issue, not a broken achievement.

Can Challenge progress survive Time Machine?

Not always. Time Machine rolls back recent casino results as well as time, so a qualifying result inside that window may stop counting.

Does reloading fix a missing achievement?

There is no verified recovery method. Reloading can repeat the same seeded result, so complete the requirement again and let it stay recorded.

Can a Steam achievement unlock later?

No delayed unlock is verified on this site. If the checks pass and it still does not unlock, treat it as version-sensitive rather than a confirmed recovery.
